Bloc Studio has a strong focus on motion. Our team of motion designers and animators have a track record of delivering high-end projects from concept, right through to delivery. We can manage script development, illustration, sound design and everything in between. So, whether you need a brand animation, social campaign or broadcast title sequence you know who to call.
With many of us also having a background in music and audio production, we appreciate the important role that sound plays in a film. Whether writing an original score for film or designing immersive soundscapes for animation, we know the benefits of creating bespoke soundtracks and recognise the important contribution our audio experts bring to a project. From traditional instrumentation to contemporary electronic production, our specialists are well versed in multiple styles of music and modern sound design. We also work with a wider network of sound studios and mixing facilities.
There are seven CAA-licenced aerial cinematographers here at Bloc - but we’re more than just drone pilots. Motivated by a passion for how aerial footage can offer a completely different perspective and drama to any project, some of us have even won awards for our work. We regularly fly at home in Scotland and travel worldwide for projects further afield.
With multiple colourists and grading suites at our disposal, we can offer a variety of grading and finishing services - both locally and remotely. From finessing the visual tone and atmosphere of your footage to advanced compositing and VFX, we’ve worked on it all - short films, music videos, TV series and feature films. Combining artistic and technical skills with best-in-class tools like Davinci Resolve grading panels and Flanders Scientific monitors, our experienced colourists will bring your creative vision to life.
